Senator Seekins, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Judiciary Committee Substitute offered on page 1178. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 30(JUD) was adopted. 2003-05-14 Senate Journal Page 1392 Senator Dyson offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 3, line 23, following "term": Insert "; (9) contains a signature form by which a person may indicate that the person has reviewed the information for at least twenty-four hours identified under (1) - (8) of this subsection" Page 5, line 9: Delete "or" Page 5, line 11, following "AS 18.60.030": Insert "; or (4) the parent or guardian of a pregnant woman legally determined to be mentally incompetent" Page 5, line 26, following the semicolon: Insert "the requirement of this subparagraph may also be satisfied if a nurse who is a member of the physician's staff informs the person of the availability of the Internet information, distributes a copy of the Internet information to the person, if requested, and offers the person an opportunity to consult with the physician;" Senator Dyson moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage.
